ScotClans.Com - we don't deliver on time... we deliver AHEAD OF TIME!

We recently performed a small exercise at ScotClans to see how well (or badly) we were doing at meeting our targets to dispatch customer's orders within the time frame set out in our terms & conditions. We thought we had been doing quite well recently we just hadnt realized just HOW well!

Delivery Targets

As you can see from the graph most of our deliveries for April 2008 were shipped out 9 days earlier than we had expected and in many cases we were more than 12 days early! Sadly there are still a few late orders going out but we have cut that number dramatically and we are working hard with a small number of suppliers who have experienced supply problems to ensure that they meet our delivery targets.

The signs are encouraging though - one large supplier has cut their 'back order' list (out of stock items that have been required by us) from 30-40 items down to around 10, the lowest since we began!

The nature of ScotClans.com is such that we need to have a good supplier relationship as well as a great customer relationship and by beating our delivery targets and working well with suppliers we make sure everyone is happy.
