Thomas the Rhymer
Thomas Learmonth (c. 1220 – 1298)
Perhaps better known as Thomas the Rhymer, Thomas Learmonth was a laird in the 13th century and was famous as an alleged prophet. He was said to have predicted the death of Alexander III, as well as a James VI going on to rule the whole of Britain after the death of Elizabeth I of England.
